McCord Research is committed to the future of skin and wound care. The McCord Graduate Fellowship for Wound Healing has been established to provide fellowships to graduate students in the University of Iowa Biosciences Graduate School Program. Recipients will be selected by a faculty committee. The first fellowship will be awarded in September 2007.

Eligibility
Students in the Biosciences Program are eligible following successful completion of their first year at the in the program University of Iowa. Successful completion includes a minimum 3.0 GPA and acceptance into a PhD program. Applicants cannot be past their second year of graduate training. The award will be $20,000 per year as stipend support. The award is for up to 3 years. The fellowship must be renewed annually. Renewal will be based upon satisfactory progress in the chosen PhD graduate program and presentation of research progress at an annual mini-symposium.
