McCord Research is a small team of highly trained experts that have been working together for more than 15 years. Collectively we oversee the research, development and quality aspects of the country’s leading skin and wound care products.

This cohesive team extends beyond its core. The dozens of companies that provide the raw materials, components and testing have also worked closely together for more than fifteen years. More than 85% of the suppliers providing goods and services to the McCord Research core team have been in place for 15 years.

Each core team member and valued supplier has a commitment to excellence. The real core of McCord Research is its commitment to quality and stability. McCord Research produces the country’s leading hospital skin care brand of products and our commitment to excellence is why we continue to lead.

Research is the backbone of McCord Research. Recently the company decided to expand its commitment to basic research and to fund leading edge science at the University of Iowa. Not only does McCord Research literally make its home just blocks from the university’s campus, it enjoys an excellent working relationship with the university’s scientific and medical communities.

The first scientist to catch our attention was Jackie Bickenbach, Ph.D. Her extraordinary insight has allowed her to develop wound healing models that hold great promise. Funding such research allows McCord Research to expand its base into the technologies that will come to market over the next years and decades.

McCord Research is now committing additional resources’ to free radical biology research. The company has selected its next funding recipient. His work parallels that of McCord Research in many aspects. We are excited about how his research extends beyond treatments and cures to skin diseases, to the research and development of products that may someday cure of such diseases as cancer and diabetes.
